Battle of the Boquet Trail & Kayak Race
![]() The Town of Willsboro began the annual event in 2014. After several comments expressing enjoyment and interest in the race the Town decided to continue the annual program and has set it's second annual race for July 11, 2015. The race consists of a moderate level trail run followed by a kayak ride up the Boquet River. It follows the path of the 1814 Willsborough Regiment as well as the British Militia during the Battle of the Boquet. For more information click the button below:
Willsboro Farmer's Market at Gateway Park![]() The Willsboro Farmer's Market takes place Thursdays from 9am to 1pm during the summer months of June, July, August, and September. Stop in to check out the local vendors! Click here for more information on the farmer's market.
Boquet River - Concerts on the Green![]() The Town of Willsboro & Champlain Valley Senior Community partnership is happy to present our summer concert series on the green. Performances will take place on the bandstand with green-space in front of the Champlain Valley Senior Living Community building. Willsboro Running ClubThe Willsboro Running Club meets at 8am on Saturday Mornings at the Zebra Tech Garage located at 3922 NY-22. They are hosting a "Couch Potato" run in which you run at different paces in order to try and get into shape for the summer months.
Florence Hathaway Park - Community Garden![]() Located on the Essex Road close by to Noblewood Park, Florence Hathaway Park offers tennis courts, trails, and will soon offer an adopt-a-plot garden and walking track. Check out our community garden webpage by clicking the button below.

Willsboro Heritage Society - Summer 2014 Schedule![]() RAGNAR Relay Series![]() The RAGNAR Relay Event takes place annually during the month of September, "Teams consist of 12 runners. During the relay, each team member runs three legs. Relay legs typically range between 3-8 miles and vary in difficulty." For more information about the RAGNAR event visit The race runs through neighboring Essex County communities, finishing in Lake Placid, NY.
